NeoChem International (Pvt.) Limited celebrated the opening of its brand-new office in Battaramulla in grand style with Mane Flavours & Fragrances Managing Director Sumit Dasgupta gracing the occasion as the chief guest.
The new office premise with its ultra modern facilities is a perfect reflection of the vision of NeoChem Managing Director Chathura Piyasekera.
“This was a much-needed requirement in the steady growth of the company in its journey towards establishing a research and laboratory complex of international standard,” he said.
An industry leader in innovative chemical product solutions, NeoChem has brought fine tastes and healthy eating to dairy and bakery products, snacks and savoury products, confectionery, beverages, tea, alcohol and pharmaceuticals while its fragrances have added the magic touch to many beauty care, home care, car care and fabric care products in Sri Lanka.
Over the past six years of service, NeoChem established its name among local manufacturers as a reliable provider of innovative solutions. Today, it has six business units – food flavours, fragrances, food additives, cosmetic and detergent specialties, textile raw materials, pharmaceutical and laboratory specialties serving many of Sri Lanka’s leading fast-moving consumer good (FMCG) manufacturers. The company is renowned in the chemical products industry for its unique capacity for penetrating and understanding market intelligence and cutting-edge research and development into product innovation.
This innovative prowess is further enhanced by NeoChem’s strong base of foreign suppliers of high-quality raw materials for its products, which include many global giants such as Mane. In 2015, NeoChem was appointed the sole agent of Mane Flavours & Fragrances in Sri Lanka.
NeoChem believes in staying on top of larger technological and social changes in consumer practices - an extension of its unique capacity for penetrating market intelligence. The company has been instrumental in helping local FMCG manufacturers introduce a variety of new concepts such as low-sugar, sugar-free, artificial flavour-free and preservative-free foods which are rapidly gaining popularity among consumers. NeoChem launched Neolink Education in 2014 to help Sri Lankan students explore global opportunities to secure the best international qualifications in higher education. Neolink’s experienced student counsellors take great care in assisting students and parents navigate through a variety of available study programmes in Australia, New Zealand and Malaysia so that they can choose their universities wisely to suit their educational and financial standing.
Neolinkis a registered service provider with the Australian High Commission and its services to students are provided free of charge.
NeoChem and Neolink Education are now better geared to serve their customers in a more spacious working environment. It is believed that the central placement in the rapidly expanding town of Battaramulla would enable the company to offer a more convenient location to its customers.
